Indiana receives votes in latest AP poll

Indiana received three votes in the latest AP poll released Monday after beating Pittsburgh and Savannah State last week. The Hoosiers did not receive any votes in the coaches poll.

Indiana (7-1) received votes for the first time two weeks ago, but didn't get any last week after losing to Eastern Washington.

The Hoosiers will Louisville on Tuesday night at Madison Square Garden as part of the Jimmy V Classic. Louisville (7-0) jumped from No. 5 to No. 4 in both the AP and coaches polls.

Other notable movement in the AP poll: Future opponent Butler jumped from No. 23 to No. 15, and three Big Ten teams -- Michigan, Michigan State and Illinois -- dropped out of the poll. Wisconsin dropped to No. 5 after losing to Duke. Ohio State is No. 12 and Maryland is No. 19.
