Tom Crean offers early thoughts on Butler

Indiana (8-2) doesn't play again until next Saturday against No. 15 Butler at Bankers Life Fieldhouse as part of the Crossroads Classic.

After IU's easy 94-66 win over Grand Canyon on Saturday at Assembly Hall, Indiana coach Tom Crean offered his early thoughts about the Bulldogs.

"I've watched them, but I haven't studied them yet," Crean said. "They are very, very good. They make a high percentage of 3s, they have a low number of turnovers, they get to the foul line. They're defending at an incredibly high level, they're an older team. They have matchup problems all over the court. It's going to be a very hard game."

Butler already owns win over North Carolina and Georgetown, both coming at the Battle 4 Atlantis in November. The Bulldogs had nearly 30 offensive rebounds against the much bigger Tar Heels. That will be a major area of focus for the Hoosiers. Top Stories
