A look at IU's Current Commits

With seven commits in the last week alone, the 2015 IU football class now has 17 players in it. Here is a breakdown of who has committed, what positions they play, what states they represent and if they are 2- or 3-star athletes.

With seven commits for the class of 2015 in the month of December – actually in the last week – Kevin Wilson and the Indiana football program now have 17 commits.

Here is a closer look at the class as it stands today:

To date, Indiana has commitments from 10 players on offense, five on defense and two who are listed as athletes.

The 17 players represent eight states. Indiana leads the way with four, followed by Florida and Ohio with three each, and two commits from the states of Georgia and Illinois. IU has one commit each from Maryland, Missouri and Virginia.

Twelve of the commits are 3-star recruits and five are 2-star recruits.

Here is the list by position as of Dec. 19, 2014:

DEFENSE

SAFETY: Jonathan Crawford, Tyler Green.

DEFENSIVE BACK: Omari Stringer.

DEFENSIVE END: Joe Belden, Jacob Robinson.

OFFENSE

QUARTERBACK: Austin King.

WIDE RECEIVER: Issac James, Leon Thornton, Mike Majette, Nick Westbrook.

TIGHT END: Austin Dorris.

GUARD: Simon Stepaniak, Hunter Littlejohn.

TACKLE: DaVondre Love, Brandon Knight.

ATHLETE: Donovan Hale, Andre Brown.
