Top 25 wins: Indiana owns most in Big Ten

Indiana has more Top 25 wins than any other Big Ten team since 2011-12. A look at the numbers.

Indiana's 82-73 win over No. 23 Butler on Saturday was the Hoosiers' second victory over a ranked opponent this season. They also beat then-No. 22 SMU at Assembly Hall in November. The rest of the Big Ten has two combined Top 25 wins this season.

Since the 2011-12 season, the Hoosiers are 17-12 against ranked opponents, the most wins of any team in the Big Ten during that time. Michigan State is second at 15-14 and Michigan and Wisconsin each own 14 wins.

I'm sure IU fans will also enjoy this stat: Purdue is 3-25 in ranked games during the time frame. Ouch.
