Kevin Ferrell Basketball Camp on Jan. 1

Members of the IU basketball team will participate in a camp for those age 8-17.

Yogi Ferrell's father, Kevin Ferrell, will host a basketball camp with his foundation for kids age 8-17 on Jan. 1 at Park Tudor High School in Indianapolis. Yogi Ferrell played at Park Tudor.

According to a release, members of the Indiana basketball team will participate in the camp, which will run from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. The full release is posted below.

The Kevin Ferrell Foundation, Inc. (Foundation) is pleased to announce its Inaugural Youth Basketball Camp. This event will be held at Park Tudor School in Indianapolis, Indiana on January 1, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. This event is open to boys from ages 8 – 17. Camp activities will include basketball training, basketball drills, basketball games, motivational and educational speakers, and fun and games.

Members of 2014-2015 Indiana University (IU) Men’s Basketball Team will assist during the course of the event as camp counselors, and as guest demonstrators and guest speakers. Additional special guests will include former members of the IU Men’s Basketball.

The event is open to the general public. Also, athletes affiliated with Special Olympics Indiana, Inc. will participate in portions of the camp. The Foundation is proud to announce that the net proceeds from its Inaugural Youth Basketball Camp will be donated to Special Olympics Indiana, Inc.
