Take a look at the 19 commitments for Indiana in the class of 2015, and it’s easy to see that a couple of areas in particular have been addressed on the defensive side of the football: the secondary and the defensive end position.
As the countdown to Signing Day has reached the final week, the Hoosiers have six players committed who are either listed as safeties, cornerbacks or simply defensive back. In addition, IU has three players committed who play defensive end.
The most recent player in that group is Brandon Wilson, a 6-4, 238-pound defensive end from Winter Garden (Fla.) West Orange High School. Wilson is a three-star recruit by Scout.com.
Wilson initially was committed to Virginia but flipped to Indiana earlier this month.
He is expected to play either as a standup defensive end or as an outside linebacker in IU’s 3-4 defense.
Here is a closer look at Wilson so Indiana fans can get acquainted with him prior to Signing Day.
