IU expected to sign four players from Indiana

The state of Indiana has four commits in IU's class of 2015 and all four rank in the state's top 15. Read on to see where the players from the state of Indiana rank in the final Scout.com class of 2015 rankings.

Barring any last minute additions from the state, Indiana is expected to sign four Indiana high school players on Wednesday as part of IU’s recruiting class of 2015.

IU coach Kevin Wilson will announce the class at a press conference on Wednesday at 2 p.m. ET at IU.

The four athletes from the state of Indiana all rank in the top 15 in the state by Scout.com.

Carmel wide receiver Isaac James is the highest ranked player committed to IU at No. 7 in the Scout.com rankings.

Noblesville OT Brandon Knight was ranked No. 8.

Westfield’s DE Jacob Robinson, who is in Texas this week for an All-Star game, is ranked No. 11, and Avon DE Joe Belden is ranked No. 13.

Class of 2015 Scout.com State Rankings: Indiana

The four commits to date from Indiana rank as the second most from any state in IU’s class of 2015 in terms of the 21 high school players who have committed. There are also two players on this list who are college transfers from UAB.

The top spot in terms of most players from one state committed to IU goes to Florida with Reakwon Jones, Brandon Wilson, Donovan Hale, Jonathan Crawford and Nick Westbrook.

The state of Ohio has three commits to IU, followed by Illinois, Georgia and Maryland with two each, and Texas, Virginia and Missouri with one each.
