The Indiana University baseball team wraps up its first 12 games of the season – all on the road – when it plays in the Snowbird Baseball Classic in Port Charlotte, Fla. this weekend.

IU has two games on Friday against Villanova at 2 p.m. and Dartmouth at 6 p.m., following by a Saturday game with St. Joseph’s and a Sunday matchup with Ball State.

The Hoosiers (4-4) are coming off a 15-1 win at College of Charleston last Saturday. Sunday’s game was rained out.

Indiana is scheduled to open the home portion of its 2015 schedule next week, weather permitting. IU will play Eastern Michigan at Bart Kaufman Field on Tuesday.

According to a release put out by IU media relations, “the weather forecast is shaping up to be perfect for baseball at BKF, with sunshine and temperatures in the 50s and 60s next week in Bloomington.
