Mosquera-Perea goes down with knee injury

Indiana's Hanner Mosquera-Perea suffered an ugly knee injury in the second half of Thursday's game against Northwestern in the Big Ten Tournament.

UPDATE 3:50 p.m.: No MRI tonight for Mosquera-Perea, just ice and elevation. That's good news. Will be a day-to-day injury. He's walking under his own power and back on the IU bench.

CHICAGO --- Indiana junior forward Hanner Mosquera-Perea left Thursday night's Big Ten Tournament game against Northwestern in the second half after suffering a knee injury. Northwestern's Alex Olah fell into Mosquera-Perea's knee when he fell to the ground in an attempt to draw a charge on a driving Robert Johnson.

Mosquera-Perea screamed out in pain and limped off the floor with assistance to the IU locker room.

He missed seven games with an injury to the same knee earlier this season.

We will have updates on Mosquera-Perea's condition as they become available. Top Stories
