The first game of the weekend series between Indiana baseball and No. 12 Cal State Fullerton, scheduled for today, has been postponed due to inclement weather in the Bloomington area.
The game, originally scheduled for today at 4:35 p.m. ET, has been rescheduled as part of a doubleheader on Saturday. Game one will have a first pitch of 1:05 p.m. ET Saturday with the second game to follow approximately 45 minutes after the conclusion of the first game.
The final game of the three-game set is still scheduled for Sunday at 1:05 p.m. ET at Bart Kaufman Field.
IU baseball coach Chris Lemonis said earlier in the week that he was looking forward to having Cal State Fullerton in town this weekend. He said next year, Indiana will travel to Fullerton (Calif.) and play a return series.
The series was scheduled by former IU baseball coach Tracy Smith, who is now the head baseball coach at Arizona State.
