IU baseball game three vs Illinois cancelled

Indiana's series finale at No. 11 Illinois was canceled due to rain. The Hoosiers will head back to Bloomington to prepare for their game against Notre Dame at Victory Field Tuesday.

The third game of Indiana's series at No. 11 Illinois was cancelled Sunday, according to a press release.

The Fighting Illini won the series by winning the first two games this past Friday and Saturday.

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. — Due to inclement weather, Indiana’s series finale at No. 11 Illinois has been cancelled and will not be made up. Illinois won games on Friday (5-1) and Saturday (6-3) to take the series.

Indiana returns to action Tuesday vs. Notre Dame at Victory Field in Indianapolis, Ind. with first pitch scheduled for 7 p.m. ET.

Gates will open at 5:30 p.m. ET and first pitch is scheduled for 7 p.m. Fans can purchase tickets starting at $8 at IndyIndians.com. Students, faculty, children ages 3-14 and active members of the military receive $3 off the gate price, while children age 2 and under will be admitted for free.

The Hoosiers are 21-15 overall and 5-8 in Big Ten play.
