Ten games into his first full season in minor league baseball, former Indiana standout Kyle Schwarber is off to a solid start.

Through Wednesday night’s action, Schwarber is hitting .345 through the first 10 games.

He is 10-for-29 with one home run and four RBI. He has also walked 10 times.

Playing for the Tennessee Smokies, the Chicago Cubs’ affiliate in the Double-A Southern League, Schwarber has really stepped it up the last two nights. Facing the Jacksonville Suns, Schwarber is 6-for-11 in the two games with two RBI.
