Former Indiana University baseball player Micah Johnson has a seven-game hitting streak in play for the Chicago White Sox.

Johnson, an Indianapolis native, is hitting .282 in his first stint in the big leagues with the White Sox. He is 11-for-39 with a double and two stolen bases. He has played in 14 games and was the club’s starting second baseman on Opening Day.

Johnson, 24, was a ninth round selection by the White Sox in the 2012 draft out of IU.
