Yogi Ferrell's NBA Decision Postponed

Saturday night's decision on Yogi Ferrell's future either to return to IU or head for the NBA has been postponed after the tragic death of IU student Hannah Wilson. No date has been given for a new announcement.

Yogi Ferrell's Saturday night decision regarding his basketball future has been postponed.

Ferrell's family announced Saturday morning that because of the tragic death reported Friday of IU student Hannah Wilson, the decision has been postponed.

Wilson's body was found in rural Brown County Friday one day after she had disappeared. She was a 22-year-old IU student from Fishers, Ind. A Bloomington man has been arrested and charged with murder.

In a short press release, the family said "In consideration of recent tragic events within the IU family, Kevin Ferrell, Sr. has postponed the announcement of the future basketball plans of Kevin “Yogi” Ferrell. The announcement was scheduled at Ruth’s Chris Steak House located at 86th & Keystone in Indianapolis, Indiana on April 25, 2015 at 7:30 p.m. The Ferrell Family sends out its condolences and prayers to the family of Hannah N. Wilson.''

The deadline for Ferrell to announce if he was enter the NBA Draft is Sunday at 11:59 p.m. ET.
