A look at IU Football Future Schedules

Here is a look at all of IU's future non-conference football opponents through the 2021 season.

Indiana announced last week that it would play Florida International in a total of four games over the next four seasons, adding 2017 and 2018 to the current contract.

Here is a look at all of IU's non-conference opponents moving forward. One note, the upcoming season will be the last one with four non-conference foes. In 2016, the Big Ten will play a nine-game conference schedule and only play three non-conference games.

This season IU opens at home with Southern Illinois on Sept. 5, followed by Florida International at home on Sept. 12 and Western Kentucky at home on Sept. 19. The final non-conference game is at Wake Forest on Sept. 26.

The 2016 non-conference foes are Ball State and Wake Forest at home, and a road game at Florida International.

In 2017, IU is at Virginia and then has home games with Florida International and UMass.

In 2018, IU is at Florida International and then has home games with Virginia and Ball State.

In 2019, IU will play UConn at home and Ball State at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. The third game is still to be determined.

In 2020, IU currently has home games scheduled with Ball State and Connecticut. A third game is still to be determined.

In 2021, IU will play host to Cincinnati and the following season, will travel to play the Bearcats. The other games in those two years are still to be determined.
