Tevin Coleman goes to Atlanta in Third Round

The Atlanta Falcons may have gotten a steal when they selected Tevin Coleman with the 73rd pick in the NFL Draft.

Tevin Coleman had to wait a long time Friday night for his name to be called in the NFL Draft.

Three hours and five minutes to be exact.

But with the 73rd pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, the Atlanta Falcons selected Coleman, the best single season rusher in Indiana University history.

Coleman ended up being selected in the third round.

Coleman, who set a single season IU rushing record as a junior last year with 2,036 yards, tweeted at 9:20 p.m. just after the 60th selection overall a simple message.

”It’s in God’s hands,’’ Coleman’s tweet said.

Trent Dilfer called Coleman a big play waiting to happen from "the University of Indiana." Hoosiers can get no respect.
