Here are a few late-week updates on Indiana basketball:
**The Hoosiers will play home games against McNeese State (Dec. 12) and Kennesaw State (Dec. 22) next season, according to a report from Mike Miller of the Bloomington Herald-Times. If you forgot, Indiana will also play in the Maui Invitational from Nov. 23-25, will host Creighton on Nov. 19 as part of the inaugural Gavitt Games, and will play Notre Dame in the Crossroads Classic. The Hoosiers will likely be on the road for their Big Ten/ACC Challenge game, but that opponent is not yet known. Earlier in the week, ESPN's Andy Katz speculated about a potential Indiana at Duke matchup. Those games should be released in the next few weeks.
**Indiana's Yogi Ferrell is the 8th best player in college basketball, according to new rankings released by ESPN's John Gasaway. That puts into perspective how big it was for the Hoosiers that he returned to school for his senior season.
**Scout.com released its final 2015 Top 100 this week, and two of Indiana's three signees made the list. Center Thomas Bryant checked in at No. 28, just one spot short of being a 5-star prospect, and forward Juwan Morgan came in at No. 96. Thon Maker, an unsigned big man who has Indiana in his top four, was No. 14 in the rankings.
**If you're in the Indianapolis area this weekend, it might be worth your time to check out the adidas May Classic. A number of Indiana targets will be in action at schools that include Noblesville High School, North Central High School and the Best Choice Fieldhouse in Fishers.
