Both IU and Duke are in the top 15 in the ESPN.com early preseason poll. Duke is ranked No. 7 and IU is listed at No. 14.
This will be the first meeting between Indiana and Duke since the two schools squared off in the 2006-07 season in Durham. Duke won that game, 54-51.
The teams also met in Bloomington in the ACC-Big Ten Challenge the year before with the Blue Devils winning 75-67.
Duke leads the all-time series between the schools 4-3. IU’s last win against Duke was in the 2002 Sweet Sixteen when the Hoosiers won 74-73 in Rupp Arena in Lexington, Ky. IU finished as the runner up in the nation that year behind Maryland.
