Indiana No. 6 seed in Big Ten Tournament

Next week's Big Ten Tournament will give Indiana a chance to add to its NCAA Tournament resume. Saturday, they found out their seeding and future opponent.

Indiana will be the No. 6 seed in next week’s Big Ten Tournament thanks to Maryland’s comeback win Saturday over Northwestern.

The Hoosiers will face No. 3 seed Michigan Wednesday in the first game of the tournament. First pitch is scheduled for 10 a.m. Eastern time at Target Field in Minneapolis. If Northwestern had held on to its lead and won, Indiana would’ve earned the No. 5 seed in the tournament.

In the three-game regular season series, the Wolverines edged the Hoosiers 2-1 at Bart Kaufman Field. It should make for an exciting matchup for day one of the tournament. Top Stories
