Michigan grad transfer Max Bielfeldt has delayed his announcement once again. Bielfeldt told AllHoosiers.com on Thursday that he wants to wait to see what happens with the Chicago Bulls' coaching vacancy, for which Iowa State coach Fred Hoiberg is a strong candidate.
The Bulls parted ways with coach Tom Thibodeau on Thursday.
If Hoiberg becomes the next head coach in Chicago, Indiana is the heavy favorite to land Bielfeldt, a 6-foot-8 forward who averaged 5.1 points and 3.6 rebounds for the Wolverines last season. But if Hoiberg returns to Iowa City, expect Bielfeldt to become a Cyclone.
Nebraska is also among Bielfeldt's final three schools. He visited all three.
