Indiana offers pair of 2017 five-star guards

The Hoosiers are staying busy following the first live period of July. They offered two elite 2017 guards on Monday. Get the full story here.

It's been a busy day on the basketball recruiting front, and I have more news to report tonight. Indiana has offered 2017 five-star guards Tevon Duval and Matt Coleman.

Duval, the 6th-ranked player in the 2017 class, is a 6-foot-3 guard from Newark, N.J. He already owns offers from Louisville, Syracuse, Villanova, and others.

Coleman, the 22nd-ranked player in the class, is a 6-foot-1 point guard from Virginia. He plays AAU ball for Boo Williams and high school ball at Oak Hill Academy. He has early offers from Cincinnati, UCONN, Memphis, Virginia, VCU and others.

Does the Boo Williams AAU ball to Oak Hill thing sound familiar? It should. Indiana junior Troy Williams also played for both. Indiana sophomore Robert Johnson played for Boo Williams, as well. Could IU keep the pipeline moving in the 2017 class? Coleman would be a great one to get.
