Indiana extends deal with Adidas through 2024

Indiana and Adidas have agreed to a contract extension through 2024, according to The Indianapolis Star.

Indiana and Adidas have agreed to a contact extension through 2024 that will pay the university $3 million more per year, according to a report from The Indianapolis Star.

According to IU, the deal worth $53.6 million over eight years is one of the five richest publicly known apparel deals in college athletics, according to The Star.

That is a pay increase of 81 percent, something Adidas likely had to do to keep Indiana from moving on to Nike or Under Armour. Michigan signed a record-setting 15-year, $169-million deal with Nike earlier this year. Top Stories
