Eron Gordon, a 2016 four-star guard from Cathedral High School in Indianapolis, has decided to delay his announcement, which was scheduled for noon on Saturday. Gordon announced the decision via Twitter, saying he would like to take some college visits before making his final choice.
Scout.com's Brian Snow reported earlier Wednesday that the choice would likely come down to Nevada and Indiana, two of the only schools recruiting him at this point in time. Gordon has also claimed interest from LSU, Arizona State and Butler in the past.
You can't blame Gordon for taking his time and making sure he makes the right choice, but this has certainly been an unusual recruitment process. But then again, is there such a thing as a normal recruitment nowadays?
