Good, But Not Good Enough

After yet another heartbreaking loss, Indiana now faces a bleak scenario. They have yet to get a conference win, and must win their final two games of the season at Maryland and rival Purdue for a chance to play in a postseason bowl. They need results, and they are out of time. But first, they must find a solution.

Mitchell Paige lingered on the turf only a few feet from the end zone he had just tried so desperately to reach. His hands lay by his side, head bowed, while "let's go blue" chants rang through the stadium. His quarterback Nate Sudfeld had already made his way towards the tunnel to lead him off the field, a post-game walk the senior would make for the last time in Memorial Stadium. Both players, along with their teammates, looked distraught, like they were trying to come to terms with what had just happened.

Another close game against a top tier opponent. Another heartbreaking result.

The Hoosiers have yet to win a Big Ten game this season, and after a promising 4-0 start and a string of agonizingly close losses, they now face an all or nothing scenario: win their final two games or end another year with no postseason. But in order to win those games- both on the road- Indiana will need to figure out how to turn their close calls into successes. Kevin Wilson and his team explain what they must do to make that happen in our AllHoosiers video below. Top Stories
