No. 14 Indiana 102, Austin Peay 76
Yogi Ferrell led all scorers with 22 points on 8-for-10 shooting from the field, including 4-for-5 from 3-point range.
A John Murry 3-pointer cut the Austin-Peay deficit to 13 with 12:28 to play in the second half. However, the Hoosiers would respond with a barrage of 3-pointers, hitting four consecutive after Murry's make. Indiana guard Nick Zeisloft hit back-to-back 3-pointers near the right wing, then James Blackmon Jr. hit one from the same spot on the ensuing position. Ferrell hit the fourth from the same spot as well in transition. Overall, it sparked a 23-7 run and extended Indiana's lead to 27 with 8:16 left in the second half. Additionally, Indiana made 15 straight field goals from the 15:30 mark to the 3:27 mark in the 2nd half.
No single individual performance was suprising in this game, but rather how the team performed as whole - especially from the 3-point line. The Hoosiers shot 16-for-27 from beyond the arc - 59.3 percent - at one point hitting four consecutive 3-pointers.
Thomas Bryant finished with 11 points and six rebounds in 21 minutes starting at center. O.G. Anunoby had two points, one rebound and one assist in eight minutes off the bench. Juwan Morgan collected one rebound in four minutes off the bench.
