Following a historic weekend on the field, Indiana added more accolades to its record book.
Redshirt sophomore kicker Griffin Oakes was named the Bakken-Andersen Kicker of the Year, the Big Ten announced Monday night. He became the first Hoosier ever to win the award.
His field goal percentage of 88 (22-for-25) ranks first in the Big Ten and ninth nationally. The 22 field goals were a single-season program record and led the conference.
