Bryant brings spark as Hoosiers prep for ND

In their final game before the Crossroads Classic at Banker's Life Fieldhouse, Thomas Bryant provided a jolt for the Hoosiers with a near double-double against McNeese State. Indiana will need continued production from him and the rest of the team if they want to leave Indy with a win on Saturday.

Tom Crean has always been an advocate for things that don't show up on the typical stat sheet, things like blocking out, ball screens, and his favorite, deflections. After the last game, one where freshman Thomas Bryant didn't have much production on the stat sheet, Crean indicated that this didn't mean Bryant wasn't doing what he was supposed to on the floor.

Last night, Bryant's performance didn't need to be questioned, translating to big numbers on the stat sheet. Crean and his Hoosiers know this is just the spark they need heading into a big in-state matchup in the Crossroads Classic as they take on Notre Dame. Jessica Wimsatt reports from Assembly Hall.
