Indiana moves up to No. 17 in Coaches poll, No. 19 in AP poll

Indiana moved up in both Top 25 polls after two blowout wins last week.

The new Top 25 polls were released on Monday, and Indiana made sizable jumps in both after two blowout wins last week.

The Hoosiers (17-3, 7-0 Big Ten) moved from 25th to 17th in the USA Today/Coaches Poll and went from unranked in the AP poll to No. 19.

Indiana improved to 7-0 in conference play in emphatic fashion, beating the state of Illinois' two Big Ten teams by a combined 66 points. The Hoosiers throttled Illinois 103-69 on Tuesday, and ran Northwestern out of Bloomington with an 89-57 win on Saturday.

The Hoosiers take their 12-game winning streak into Madison for a meeting with Wisconsin on Tuesday. Indiana beat the Badgers 59-58 in Bloomington earlier this season. Top Stories
