Yogi Ferrell added to Wooden Award Top 20 list

Indiana guard Yogi Ferrell was added to the Wooden Award watch list, making the top 20.

Yogi Ferrell is one of the 20 best players in college basketball. 

After being left off the midseason watch list, Ferrell was added back to the Wooden Award Top 20, which was released Wednesday. The Wooden Award honors the best player in college basketball every year.

Ferrell is averaging 17.3 points, 5.8 assists and 4.1 rebounds per game this season. 

The other players in the Top 20 include: LSU's Ben Simmons, North Carolina's Brice Johnson, Oklahoma's Buddy Hield, Louisville's Damion Lee, Michigan State's Denzel Valentine, Wichita State's Fred VanVleet, Oregon State's Gary Peyton II, Iowa State's Georges Niang, Duke's Grayson Allen, Utah's Jakob Poeltl, Iowa's Jarrod Uthoff, Oakland's Kay Felder, Providence's Kris Dunn, Gonzaga's Kyle Wiltjer, Virginia's Malcolm Brogdon, Maryland's Melo Trimble, SMU's Nic Moore, Kansas' Perry Ellis and Kentucky's Tyler Ulis.
