Indiana's top-ranked 2016 recruit has had an adjustment to his schedule.

Six-foot-10, 240-pound forward/center De'Ron Davis of Overland High School in Aurora, Colo., will not arrive at IU until August, most likely, his coach tells Peegs.com.

Davis initially was scheduled to arrive at IU for the second summer session, which begins today.

"The big fella is still here and may not arrive in Bloomington until early August," Overland coach Danny Fisher told Peegs.com. "He is hashing through some things he has to finish here in town and has been in contact with coach Crean and staff.

"I don't have an exact date, but early August is what everyone is expecting."

Ranked No. 44 nationally, Davis is the top recruit in IU's 2016 class.

Indiana junior college forward Freddie McSwain is also expected to arrive at IU in August as he completes some academic work at Neosho County Community College.

IU's other three freshmen — guards Curtis Jones, Devonte Green and Grant Gelon — are already on campus and enrolled in summer classes.
