Ohio lineman Derrius Mullins has committed to Indiana today

The Indiana football program has added another big lineman to the 2017 recruiting class with the commitment of Derrius Mullins today. The 6-foot-5, 315-pound prospect is the 11th commitment for the Hoosiers in the 2017 class.

Three-star prospect Derrius Mullins from Columbus (OH) St. Francis DeSales H.S. just posted on his Twitter page that he has committed to Indiana today.  The 6-foot-5, 315-pound lineman is the 11th commit for Kevin Wilson and his staff in the 2017 recruiting class, and the first one from the state of Ohio.

Mullins chose IU over offers from Pittsburgh, Purdue, Wisconsin, Boston College, Cincinnati, Kentucky, West Virginia, Bowling Green, Kent State, Ohio and Toledo. He told Peegs.com earlier this month that Indiana is standing out for him because of the way the coaches have treated him throughout his recruitment.

I see how they care about you and your family,” he said about the Hoosiers. “And I like how they treat their players like family.
