Five-star Indianapolis North Central forward Kris Wilkes has cut his list.
The 6-foot-8 forward from the Indy Hoosiers AAU program has cut his list to 11 schools, his father tells Peegs.com today.
The 11 schools are, in no specific order, Indiana, Xavier, Butler, UCLA, Ohio State, Illinois, Michigan, North Carolina, Washington, Arizona and Connecticut.
A 6-foot-8 forward, Wilkes currently is planning official visits to North Carolina on Aug. 26-28 and UCLA Sept. 22-24.
Wilkes is ranked No. 17 nationally in the 2017 class by Scout.com.
Wilkes has been on campus unofficial to Indiana quite a few times. He also has made unofficial visits to a number of other schools, including Xavier, Illinois, Michigan and Ohio State.
Arizona and North Carolina are the newest schools to jump in, offering scholarships this summer.
Indiana has been recruiting Wilkes the longest and was his first scholarship offer.
In addition to his final 11, Wilkes had interest or offers from Kentucky, Purdue, TCU, Oregon, Notre Dame, Vanderbilt, Maryland and others.
