Four-star 2017 forward Jordan Tucker of Marietta (GA) Wheeler High School has announced his top eight schools.
The 6-foot-7 small forward Sunday night said his top eight schools, in no specific order, are Arizona, Duke, Indiana, Louisville, Maryland, Syracuse, USC and Villanova.
Louisville is the most recent school to join Tucker’s recruitment, and Tucker has been open about hoping for a Duke offer.
Tucker recently told Scout.com's Jody Demling that he may not make a decision until the spring.
Tucker has made an unofficial visit to Indiana, and said in July that IU would be one of his five official visits.
Tucker last week announced he was transferring from Archbishop Stepinac in White Plains (NY) to Wheeler, which has a strong roster.
Tucker is a versatile wing with very good 3-point range.
“He can bring it up himself. He can play off the ball. He can run your offense. He can be the alpha male or the giver,” New York Rens coach Andy Borman told peegs.com. about Tucker.
“He’s just extremely versatile. Whatever that game needs him to be. He’s extremely versatile. He's willing, too. He’s willing to be whatever the game needs him to be, which is the most important thing. …
“Sometimes the game dictates that he needs to get us 28. Sometimes the game dictates he needs to get us a double-double or a triple-double. He’s that type of kid.”
