Indiana’s Hoosier Hysteria will be on Saturday, Oct. 22, IU announced today.
The annual event will be held at the newly renovated Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall, which is undergoing a $40-million renovation.
The event is scheduled to include the normal on-court activities of a scrimmage, dunk contest, 3-point contest, fan contests and more.
It will be the first time fans will be able to see the 2016-17 IU basketball team, which has been ranked in the top 15 in the nation by several preseason publications.
IU is coming off its second Big Ten regular-season title in four years and reached the Sweet Sixteen.
Admission is free, but fans are encouraged to bring a canned food item for donation to Hoosier Hills Food Bank.
The IU men and women both reached the NCAA Tournament in 2015-16 and both Tom Crean and Teri Moren were named Big Ten Coach of the Year.
