Four-star 2017 point guard Tremont Waters of Notre Dame-West Haven (Conn.) plans to announce his college decision on Wednesday at 4 p.m. (ET), according to his AAU program.
Waters has made official visits to Kentucky, Kansas, Indiana and Georgetown. He also made a follow-up unofficial visit to Georgetown this past weekend for its midnight madness event.
Entering Tuesday night, Georgetown was considered the favorite.
The 5-foot-10 Waters is ranked No. 41 nationally by Scout.com in the 2017 classs.

“I now can see why people take so long to make a decision. This is a commitment you have to live with for 40 years,” Tremont’s father, Ed Waters, told Joe Morelli of the New Haven (Conn.) Register.
Indiana was very active watching Waters during the April and July evaluation periods with Expressions Elite.
“I like their coaching staff,” Waters told peegs.com this summer. “They’re all great guys. They produced guards like Yogi Ferrell and Victor Oladipo. I’d be more like Yogi Ferrell.
“He runs the team. He controls the tempo, plays hard, is very aggressive on defense and scores when his team needs him.”
