After an 18-15 season that included a 7-11 record in the Big Ten, Indiana has accepted a No. 3 regional seed for the National Invitation Tournament. The Hoosiers will go on the road to Atlanta to play No. 6 seed Georgia Tech.
The game will tip at 9:00 p.m. ET on Tuesday and be broadcast on ESPN.
Under new coach Josh Pastner, Georgia Tech went 17-15 this season and 8-10 in the ACC.
As the higher seed team Indiana had the opportunity to host the game but declined because it's spring break week for both the university and local schools.
The winner of the Indiana-Georgia Tech game will face the survivor of the Wednesday game between No. 2 seed Georgia and versus No. 7 Belmont.
