Indiana basketball coach Archie Miller is scheduled to begin meeting with IU’s 2017 signees this week.
Conversations are still taking place to set a date to see 6-foot-11 small forward Clifton Moore in the Philadelphia area.
Durham and Moore have requested releases from their letters of intent, however Durham has been clear that he remains totally open to being re-recruited by Indiana.
Al Durham Sr. told Peegs.com today that remains the case and Indiana is very much an option.
“He committed early, in 2015. He has almost a two-year relationship with (former) coach (Tom) Crean and (assistant) Chuck (Martin) and those guys who recruited him,” Durham Sr. told Peegs.co last week.
“If it’s Indiana, we’ll be there in June.
“Schools all over the place, we’ve gotten word they want to talk to us. They can’t do that yet until we get the letter (of release). We understand Indiana wants to wait and let him (Miller) talk to us first.”
Smith also remains very interested in Indiana, a source said today.
Miller’s meeting with the Smith’s most likely will be Friday or Saturday, depending on the family’s schedule, a source tells Peegs.com.
Indiana signed three players in the 2017 class.
