Peegs.com spoke with NBA scouts regarding Indiana players who are declaring for the NBA draft.

Here is what one NBA scout said about IU sophomore center Thomas Bryant:

“As everyone acknowledges, what’s the one skill he’s going to master? He’s not really a shot blocker. He’s not a great rebounder. He’s not really a presence on the defensive glass, other than he gives a lot of effort.

“He’ll play hard. Offensively, he doesn’t have that one thing about him. Obviously, he runs a little awkwardly.

“The 3-point shooting has been kind of interesting. In the beginning it was, ‘OK, this is a new part to his game.’ But when you can only really shoot and on’t add a whole lot in terms of back to basket or facing up, it becomes interesting.

“He’s someone lacking that one mastered skill.”
