Robert Johnson is back for his senior season. A starter most of his first three seasons, Johnson was one of four Hoosiers who put his name in for the draft this spring. Since he did not hire an agent, Johnson had until May 24th to pull out of the draft but made the decision this week to complete his career in Bloomington, his father confirms to Peegs.com this morning.
Jon Rothstein of FanRag Sports was the first to report the news today.
As a junior Johnson averaged 12.8 points, 4.4 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 29.4 minutes of playing time.
For his career, Johnson has averaged 10.0 points and started 87 games over his three seasons.
With Johnson's decision to return and the decisions by three other Hoosiers to stay in the draft, Indiana is right at the 13 scholarship limit for 2017-18.
Peegs.com will have more on this developing story.
