Indiana has offered a scholarship to one of the top post players in the nation in the 2019 class.

IU coach Archie Miller offered a scholarship to four-star 6-foot-10, 250-pound center Kofi Cockburn of the New York Rens AAU program and powerhouse Christ the King High School.

He is currently ranked No. 45 overall nationally in the 2019 class by Scout.com.

Cockburn has a host of offers already, including Indiana, Syracuse, Miami, Pittsburgh, UNLV, Florida State, LSU, Georgetown, Providence, St. John’s, Oregon and others.

Cockburn is a physical presence already with a strong lower base and big upper body.

He has been impressive this spring already, growing his post game, showing good hands and an improving ability to use his frame to overpower opponents inside.

Peegs.com had a chance to see him more than a year ago. Even at that time, Cockburn was a physical player with a good frame and plenty of potential on the interior.
