Nick Marozas has become commitment number five in the 2018 recruiting class for coach Tom Allen and his staff. The 6-foot-4, 272-pound standout from Brother Rice H.S. in Chicago announced his pledge to the Hoosiers with this post on his Twitter page:
The offensive lineman chose Indiana over offers from Minnesota, Virginia, Cincinnati, Ball State, Buffalo, Central Michigan, Colorado State, Eastern Michigan, Miami (OH), New Mexico, Northern Illinois, Toledo, Western Kentucky, Western Michigan and Wyoming.
Marozas is ranked the 69th best offensive tackle in the nation by Scout.com. The three-star recruit camped at IU this past Friday, and going into that visit he told Peegs.com that the Hoosiers were in great shape with him.
"Indiana is high on my board," he said. "They are being strongly considered in the final moments of my recruiting. I like the come up with the program, and the family like atmosphere.”
