Offensive Overview: It will be a steady dose of run, run, run for the Indiana offense this year. BenJarvus Green-Ellis and Chris Taylor provide a good 1-2 punch for the running game. The key to the offense this year is whether LoVecchio can revive a passing game that accounted for only four touchdown passes last season. He still has his favorite target from last year, Courtney Roby, who at 6-5 has excellent size. If the offensive line can give LoVecchio time expect the number of passing touchdowns to increase this season.

Defensive Overview: The defense remains a giant question mark as it was constantly torched last season. It was anchored by the strong linebacking core of Killion, Moore, and Powers and up front by Jodie Clemons, a Big Ten honorable mention selection. The secondary was flat out bad last season and must show the biggest improvement for this unit to get much better.

Special Teams Overview: Both kicker Bryan Robertson (SR) and punter Tyson Beattie (SO) return for the Hoosiers. Beattie averaged 40.8 yards on 68 punts last year, Robertson was the team leader in scoring with 55 points.

The Hoosiers can win three games if... LoVecchio can take charge of this offense and lead a passing game to complement the running game.
