After his visit at Indiana, Neil Jones was very impressed with the Hoosiers, and said that his visit went really well. He enjoyed the campus and the coaches, and thought that the Hoosiers have a good chance at improving over the next four years.
When asked whether he was ready to commit, he said that he isn't quite ready yet. As far as more visits, he said, "I don't think I'll take any more visits, because I really like TCU and Indiana. My choice will be between those two schools."
In regards to a timetable on his decision, Jones said, "I hope to have a decision by next week. It's a tossup between the two schools right now, with neither leading."
The weather in Indiana this last weekend wasn't exactly pleasant, but Jones told us that weather will not factor in the decision. "I'm originally from Cleveland, so I'm use to the cold weather."
Jones was named all-area as a Junior, and all Conference as a senior. Unfortunately his Dr. Phillips High School team lost all their games this year, but that hasn't gotten Jones down. He has been keeping himself busy starting at center for the men's basketball team.
