Dear Hoosier Nation,

This week has been great! We've practiced hard, studied film and feel like we are well prepared for our opponent Lanphier High School. We played very well as a team last Friday and came out on top, 69-20, over Lincoln High School. We have different guys step up each week to bring the team to victory. The defense shut down their passing game, which I expressed as a point of worry in last weeks journal!

So, then after the game on Friday my dad asked if I wanted to go to the IU game on Saturday! I said "when do we leave?" So after films and talking to my history teacher's sixth grade football team on Saturday we left and made it just in time to talk to Debbie, the receptionist (the nicest lady in the world), get some tickets and see "The Walk." It slapped me in the face when during "The Walk" my mom said "do you believe that is going to be you next year?"

It was just kind of like wow!

The game was awesome, a great win for our Hoosiers! I also met another commit at the game named Alex Perry, who seemed like a really cool guy.

But anyways our girls volleyball team their city championship this week for the fourth straight time!! We packed our gym full of students, it was great to see the fan support form our students to a usually unattended sport! It was also great to feel what it was like to actually be in the crowded stands since I have never had a chance because of football and basketball! On the executive student council we are doing a lot of planning for homecoming which is only two weeks away! But that is all for now!!

Wish me luck this weekend!
