Dane Conwell, LB, Pittsburgh (Penn.) Upper St. Clair H.S. – Upper St. Clair improved to 5-0 with a 38-7 win Baldwin H.S. No stats were available from the game.

Max Dedmond, TE, Evansville (Ind.) Central H.S. – Evansville Central (7-0) made short work of Evansville Memorial, opening a 41-0 halftime lead and cruising to a 63-7 victory. Central was led by quarterback Chris Owen who completed 14-of-18 passes for 225 yards and six touchdowns, including one to Dedmond. The second-ranked team in the state in Class 4A, Central clinched at least a share of the conference title with the win.

Matt Ernest, WR, Crown Point (Ind.) H.S. – Surprisingly, it was a big play from Ernest on defense and not offense that helped preserve a dramatic 42-41 win for Crown Point (7-0) over LaPorte (5-2) Friday night. With Crown Point holding onto a one-point lead, Ernest broke up a two-point conversion attempt with :54.6 remaining to keep Crown Point unbeaten. Ernest also had a 16-yard touchdown reception on offense.

Sidney Glover, S, Warren G. Harding (Ohio) H.S. – Harding used a strong defensive effort to shut out Ursuline 14-0 and pick up its second straight win. Ursuline entered the game ranked No. 9 in the state in District IV. No statistics were available.

Darius Johnson, LB, Highland Park (Mich.) Community H.S. – Johnson carried 18 times for 84 yards and added seven tackles and an interception on defense to lead Highland Park (6-0) to an 18-7 win over Carlson H.S. The win over Carlson was easily the closest game for Highland Park this season, as they've now out-scored their six foes by a combined 254-35. Johnson, meanwhile, has rushed 61 times for 636 yards (10.4/carry) and nine touchdowns.

Tyler Replogle, LB, Centerville (Ohio) H.S. - Centerville improved to 4-2 with a 38-24 win over Beavercreek. Replogle led the defensive effort, totaling 13 tackles in a game that was played in front of 7,000 spectators.

Teddy Schell, QB, Barrington (Ill.) H.S. – Schell threw for three touchdowns to guide Barrington (4-2) to a 41-7 win over Palatine. Schell attempted only seven passes in the game by completed six for 157 yards and the three touchdowns.

Zach Walker, RB, Plantation (Fla.) H.S. - Walker carried 13 times for 79 yards but it wasn't nearly enough as Plantation was whipped by South Plantation 42-20. The game was tied 14-14 at half before South Plantation answered with four second-half touchdowns to blow the contest open.
