Dane Conwell, LB, Pittsburgh (Penn.) Upper St. Clair H.S. – Upper St. Clair improved to 6-0 with a 35-7 win over Canon-McMillen H.S. Conwell led a balanced offensive attack, rushing 14 times for 109 yards and a touchdown.

Max Dedmond, TE, Evansville (Ind.) Central H.S. – Evansville Central improved to 8-0 with a 51-13 win over Boonville Friday night, moving within one win of becoming the first Evansville Central team to go undefeated during the regular season since 1987. Central scored the first seven times it touched the ball to open a 37-0 lead. No statistics for Dedmond were available.

Matt Ernest, WR, Crown Point (Ind.) H.S. – Ernest had his biggest statistical game of the year, catching eight passes for 138 yards and two touchdowns to help Crown Point (8-0) to a 41-21 win over Chesterton. Ernest had seven of his catches in the first half, including both of his touchdowns, as Crown Point opened a 34-0 lead.

Sidney Glover, S, Warren G. Harding (Ohio) H.S. – Harding (4-2) has a big game Saturday night when it faces 6-0 St. Ignatius in arguably the biggest game of the weekend in Ohio high school football. St. Ignatius is allowing just 8.3 points/game while building its undefeated record. Glover, meanwhile, leads the Harding defense this season with 28 tackles.

Darius Johnson, LB, Highland Park (Mich.) Community H.S. – Highland Park ran its record to 7-0 with a 22-7 win over Romulus Friday night. Johnson ran for 152 yards in 18 carries in the win, giving him 788 yards on 79 carries (9.9/carry) on the season. In addition to Johnson, Highland Park running back Marques Lett added 127 yards and two touchdowns on 14 carries as the Polar Bears piled up 334 rushing yards in the win.

Tyler Replogle, LB, Centerville (Ohio) H.S. - Centerville improved to 5-2 with a 69-20 trouncing of Springfield North (0-7) Friday night. No statistics were available.

Teddy Schell, QB, Barrington (Ill.) H.S. – Barrington improved to 5-2 with a 42-6 win over Hoffman Estates. It was another efficient day for Schell, who completed 5-of-6 passes for 139 yards and two touchdowns in the win.

Zach Walker, RB, Plantation (Fla.) H.S. - Walker carried 11 times for 61 yards, but Ely H.S. handed Plantation a 27-7 setback Friday. A 21-yard run by Walker helped set up Plantation's go-ahead touchdown early in the third quarter, but Ely returned the ensuing kickoff for a touchdown and never looked back.
