Indiana has secured a second commitment from a member of the four-time defending state champion Warren Central H.S. football program.
Chris Adkins, a 6-1, 180-pound cornerback, verbally committed to the Hoosiers Sunday night. He is the 14th member of IU's 2007 class, a group that already includes Warren Central offensive linemen Andrew McDonald, who pledged to IU last month.
"I've wanted to go to IU," said Adkins, who also had offers from Ball State, Ohio and Toledo. "There are a lot of ties there for me. So it was a pretty big decision for me, and I think I made the right decision."
HoosierNation.com will have more on Adkins' commitment, including additional comments from the latest member of IU's 2007 class, Monday morning.
