Indiana will be without sophomore center Ben Allen for Sunday's game for perhaps more.
The 6-11 Australian has been diagnosed with mononucleosis and has been ruled out for Sunday's 8 p.m. contest against Southern Illinois. Allen has been battling the illness for more than a week also missed Saturday's 59-54 loss to Kentucky.
IU Coach Kelvin Sampson said he didn't know when Allen would return.
Allen, who has started four of the seven games he's played in, is averaging 1.6 points, 3.1 rebounds and 14.0 minutes/game.
