Incoming IU freshman guard Jordan Crawford has been tabbed as the 11th-best post-graduate player in the 2007 class by Scout.com.

The 6-4, 190-pounder from Detroit spent the 2006-07 season at Hargrave Military Academy, where he averaged 19.9 points, 4.7 rebounds and 8.5 assists per game. He'll arrive next year as one of six newcomers to the Hoosiers' roster along with fellow guards Eric Gordon and JaMarcus Ellis and frontcourt players Eli Holman, DeAndre Thomas and Brandon McGee.

After a standout prep career at Detroit's Rennaissance H.S., Crawford spent the 2005-06 season at Hargrave, considered one of the top prep school basketball programs in the country. He helped lead Coach Kevin Keatts' squad to a 23-7 mark while playing primarily at point guard.

This marks the second straight season IU will welcome a player from Hargrave. A year ago, Armon Bassett averaged 24 points, six rebounds and six assists at Hargrave and was ranked as Scout.com's No. 1 post-graduate point guard in the 2006 class.

Like Bassett, Crawford is expected to help the Hoosiers at both shooting guard and point guard.

Crawford was one of four Hargrave Military Academy players in Scout.com's top 25 post-graduate rankings. He was joined by Virginia Tech-bound forward Jeff Allen (No. 2); Virginia-bound power forward Mike Scott (No. 3); and Georgia-bound forward Jeremy Jacob (No. 14) on the list.

St. John's bound power forward Justin Burrell was the top-ranked post-graduate player according to Scout.com.
