If Indiana has its way, Peter St. Fort won't be lonely next season in Bloomington.
The 6-0, 170-pound defensive back from Naples (Fla.) Golden Gate H.S. became the latest player to pledge to the IU football program, committing Friday according to the Naples Daily News. He's one of three teammates who IU assistant coach Billy Lynch has targeted from the Florida school.
In addition to St. Fort, IU has also offered 6-6, 215-pound defensive end Anthony Mains and 6-2, 180-pound wide receiver J.D. Woods. Both continue to list the Hoosiers among their favorites.
St. Fort was the third of the trio to receive an IU scholarship offer, but the first to pledge to Coach Bill Lynch. He totaled 39 tackles and two interceptions a year ago, and is a potential contributor at either cornerback or safety.
HoosierNation.com will have more on St. Fort's commitment this weekend.
